Why Medical Offices Need a Higher Standard of Clean
A healthcare setting is unlike any other space when it comes to cleaning. Waiting rooms fill with people who are already sick. Exam rooms see patient after patient throughout the day. High-touch surfaces, restrooms, and shared equipment all become potential paths for germs to spread if they aren't properly cleaned and disinfected. The stakes simply aren't the same as a typical office, and neither are the expectations.
Proper medical cleaning means more than wiping things down. It means using the right disinfectants on the right surfaces, paying close attention to the high-touch points and high-traffic areas where germs concentrate, and following careful, consistent routines so nothing gets missed. It protects your patients, protects your staff, and protects the reputation you've built.
The clinical cadence.
Medical office cleaning isn’t the same as office cleaning. Different chemistry, different dwell times, different surfaces flagged for full disinfection vs detail.
- Exam & Treatment Rooms — EPA List N disinfectant + correct dwell, exam tables & counters, touchpoint disinfect, floor sweep & mop
- Waiting & Reception — Chair, table & toy bin sanitize, sign-in counter wipe-down, glass partition & reception window
- Restrooms (Clinical) — Sanitize toilets, sinks & fixtures, hospital-grade restock, quat disinfectant floor mop, sharps protocol awareness
- Admin & Break Rooms — Standard janitorial scope, kitchen & appliance wipe, trash & recycle pull, floor vacuum & mop

Questions practices ask.
Are your products EPA List N for emerging pathogens?
Yes - primary disinfectant we use carries EPA List N approval for SARS-CoV-2 and other emerging viral pathogens. We’ll share the SDS sheet with your office manager during onboarding.
Are your crews bloodborne-pathogen trained?
Yes - all medical-account crews complete OSHA bloodborne pathogen training annually. Spill protocol, PPE protocol, and sharps awareness are part of the onboarding.
How do you handle HIPAA & PHI exposure?
Crews are trained not to engage with patient records, computer screens, or paperwork. We work around documents, never move them. Crew leads sign a BAA-compatible NDA on hire.
Do you supply sharps containers or biohazard handling?
No - medical waste handling stays with your licensed waste vendor. We avoid sharps containers entirely. We’ll flag a full sharps container to office staff but never touch one.
